ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
I'm Bridget, a digital illustrator and art teacher. I embark on a quest to the drawing board to bring diversity to my character designs and embracing topics such as mental health, fat positivity, genders and sexualities with a positive view of new age witchcraft.
With over a decade as a digital illustrator and graphic designer, coupled with 1.5 years of experience in the animation industry at Lava Moon Studios and on a 2D animated short thesis film, I offer unique skills of creativity and administration. I earned a BFA in Illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology. My 4 years in museums and non-profits has enriched my skills in exhibition management, visitor engagement and arts education. This diverse background ensures my quick delivery on projects and provides impactful problem-solving.
My illustrations were exhibited at Silvermine Galleries, Hudson Valley MOCA, Inspiration Art Group International, Visual AIDS, WomensWork.Art, Croton Free Public Library, Poughkeepsie Public Library District, Kent Public Library, Women in Animation NYC Chapter, Brookfield Craft Center, Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden, Fashion Institute of Technology and Westbeth Gallery. I create stories about self-discovery through magickal adventures. My two comics, “After Life” (2018) and “Secretive Quarrel” (2022) can be viewed here.
As a Technical Director at Inspiration Art Group International, I nurture a positive space for artist members to share their work and knowledge. Earning the trust of 300+ artist members from 33 countries, it’s an honor to bring diverse women’s work to a broader audience. Additionally, I'm a Digital Arts Teacher at Silvermine Arts Center to teach young grasshoppers to expand their skillsets by creating 4 courses, workshops and via private tutoring.
